X-Men: The Last Stand over 80 million <2.3/2> WSEX

Not a big play on this one as the box office hasn't been very predictable from week to week. Also, if this still had Bryan Singer as director, it would be a big play on the over, but the fans haven't reacted well with Brett Ratner directing. Still, it should have little effect on the box office overall. X-Men will debut tonight at midnight in a very wide 3,700+ theaters and with a runtime of only 105 minutes, there should be ample showings throughout the day. The fans will be out in droves for this one even though reviews are mixed, as most of the fanbase won't care one way or the other. The biggest factor on this play is the fact that Memorial Day is on Monday, thus, the box office for Sunday will not take too steep a hit because of businesses and schools being closed the following day. Seen the movie today and by any indications that I seen the theatre was packed full for a early 11 AM showing so you might have a winner here.Also stick around after the credits are shown might miss something thats all I will say.

Wow, easy winner, almost too easy...I didn't think X3 would be that big as the reviews weren't exactly positive, but people flocked to see it as it will top 125 million for the four day weekend by my estimation.

Hi, I do box office wagers also, and just found this part of the forums. I had pounded the Over on this one, it looked like a really juicy wager. X2 did 85 mil 3 years ago, and this is Memorial Day weekend, of course this one was gonna go way over!
